Dear family, friends and partners,
Our people in Tijuana need your prayers. This week, the war between drug members has once more escalated. Prosecutor Rommel Moreno has blamed the violence on warring leaders within the Arellano Felix drug gang. More than 400 people have been killed in drug-related
violence in the city across from San Diego, California, this year, including at least 49 this week.
I thank the Lord that so far all of my “Mexican family” is safe. But, these violent drug gangs are getting more and more aggressive. They are coming out in the community and dumping bodies (sometimes beheaded) near shopping centers and schools. Pastor Martin told me that there is a lot of fear among the people. You can read the news reports yourselves online at CNN.
Please pray, ask your friends, your church, your bible study group to pray for “our family” in Tijuana.
TLCCM has over 500 kids between Centro de Amor and Terrazas del Valle. Some of the parents of “my kids” work in some of the areas where there has been violence this week. I personally know some good and kind people that live in those areas.
Please pray also for all of the people in Tijuana. Most of these people are good people. This city has been rocked by violence because of the drug war and it has gone on for years, but in the last year, it’s gone absolutely out of control.
Pastor Angel is safe in the countryside in Rosarito. PTL.
I am concerned, very concerned.
