Already 2 years. We miss you so!

We were all so devastated on that very sad day two years ago when the Lord called you home. Your unconditional love, your strength and your faith held our family together. Our lives were filled with love, dreams, hard work and happiness.

Together, during 44 years, we made some unforgettable memories. Now, these precious memories help us through the difficult days when we miss you so very much. Loneliness is not just for a moment, it has become a part of my life. Missing you is a heartache that never goes away.

I see you in our precious children and in our wonderful grandchildren. I see you also in our leaders, workers and in the children in Tijuana. Everyone’s life you touched has been impacted in a special way. You have left us with such a great legacy.

Learning to live without you is very difficult. We know that you would want all of us to live our lives to the fullest. To honour your memory that is what we are trying to do. But, I would easily give up all of my tomorrows for a single yesterday!

Roger, dad, you are always in our hearts and thoughts.
